James D. McAlexander, DPM
Dr James McAlexander D.P.M. was born in Seattle, WA and raised in Fremont, CA. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Puget Sound, Washington in 1984 followed by a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at The California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, CA in 1988. He completed his residency at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, American Lake, WA in 1989.
He is Board Certified by both the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA). His specialties include podiatric surgery, podiatric medicine, podiatric sports medicine, orthotics and cutting-edge healing modalities.
In his free time, he enjoys biking, hiking, playing instruments such as guitar and piano, and spending time with his wife Susan, and their three adult children. He is a member of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church.
